Hi I’m Julia Rankin Long—NKY Licensed Esthetician and welcome to the archives. Here you can receive facial and brow services in the heart of Independence KY. Facial treatments are customized to every clients needs with massage at the center of the whole service. Where effectiveness meets relaxation. Following the lymphatic system to heal the skin and soothe your nervous system. Brow services include waxing, tinting, and laminations. This is my reason for being an esthetician. During the block brow era, I definitely knew how to draw on eyebrows. And a wax and tint became my favorite day of the month. It was important to me. I love how brows frame your face, and give you confidence. The Youth Archives is tricky, in the way not everyone will look at what it conveys and get how it fits with esthetics. I can explain my life away—but truly, I want it to be what you perceive, your interpretation, and find what you need in this little dream world. I will say it comes from nostalgia “the most beautiful form of pain”. The preservation of memories and how your prime never dies. Youth is so much more than the lines on your face and maybe aging isn’t as scary as it seems. I’m a 90’s kid who struggled with growing up, born into a concrete family stone, and experienced grief earlier than the statistics promised. My family is a huge part of the narrative. Then I got older, like a race against time and I was losing. and everyone said—ok this is life and that’s all it is to it. But I didn’t believe that. I did everything I was supposed to do, why did it feel like there was more to it? Something was beating out of my chest and I had to follow it thru. I’ve also been neurodivergent my whole life. When the world didn’t know what to do with kids diagnosed with ADHD. Taught to mask so no one would know you’re different. Worried about what people thought while they label you incapable. So that’s where The Youth Archives comes in. For wanting more for myself. A safe place. To let my imagination run wild outside my body and explode into my little unconventional spa. Finding calm in the chaos. And finding the people who need it too. Now that’s where you come in. There’s no need to be anything other than you are. Perfection does not matter here. Skin care and services should be ACCESSIBLE to EVERYONE. Not just a certain aesthetic or experience level. It’s for everybody, it’s healthcare, it’s confidence. If you’ve felt like this industry isn’t for you—I’m here to show you there’s a corner in every space where you fit in. And you should feel good leaving your service. I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no shows or cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled appointment.
